There's a family near us that does the computerized lights. His two sons are autistic and this is one of the few things that engages their attention. He uses the light show to raise money for autism research. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxTpsrDf5lI

These are the Christmas light show that take place at the Harbor in Baltimore every Christmas. They go on for about the last two weeks every night before Christmas. It's really fun to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd55XyUAWoI

I love driving around and looking at Christmas lights. It is a holiday tradition I share with my children as neither of my now ex-spouses ever wanted to participate. I would pop a couple of bags of popcorn and fill a large thermos with hot chocolate then we would drive around looking at lights for a couple of hours. My son & daughters would vote on the "best" decorated house and we would leave those folks a Christmas card and tell them they "won" our admiration. My oldest daughter is currently out of state for basic training in the US Navy and my son now lives in another town with his wife and children so now it is just my youngest daughter and myself and we have already set the date for this year.
