This is going to sound so retarded, but...I need to come up with a christmas list and have NO idea what to put on it. Suggestions?

I always ask for kitchen items that I wouldn't buy for myself. There are always cool little gadgets or pretty bowls, a marble rolling pin, pastry board, blah blah blah. All those things that I sigh over in the store but don't spend money on because they're too frivolous.

Standards on my Christmas list are new towels and sheets. (Hey, my parents ask and then they do deliver.) Kitchen things that I do not have. New books (are there any series that you are reading?) New jackets as I go through them like crazy for work. Socks, after all, new socks are GREAT. PJ's. In fact, new pj's (and I mean the pants and top type) may be even better than new socks and towels.

Overall, I am a practical person when it comes to gifts. If I cannot use it, then I would rather you did not buy it for me.

An e-reader if you don't have one.
New kitchen towels.
Is your favorite sweater looking its age? Then a new one or a gift card to the store.

Oh gawd...both my daughter and Master asked me what I wanted for Christmas and it took me forever to even coming up with much of anything at all. I just really don't need anything and I don't collect anything or buy stuff just to have it lying around. I hate clutter. So I used my pinterest account and made a list there for them both to go to. Most of the stuff on it though is cheap stuff like a kitchen tool that covers the fingers while cutting to keep from cutting your fingers because I'm a total klutz. It was less than $10 lol.

Everyone seems to have difficulty buying me gifts. Sigh.

My Mom (78...going on "where the fuck am I...is it February?") told me today (she's clearly retarded...has no idea of my cooking skill sets) that she wants me to cook dinner for her once a month for 6 months. That's what she wants for Christmas! (Like I need any more shit at 54 either). This chic goes to the gas station, puts the gas pump in her car....goes in to pay, comes out, pulls her gas pump out and wonders why there's no bill...."Uhm....Mom....could be you forgot to pull the gas pump trigger"....just a thought). But, back to my promise to feed her....

Boy is she in for a treat!

"So.....Mom....how you liking those hot dogs?"

I got her a great book today "Why I love my Mom so much".

Lot's of little pages....40 or so...."why I love my Mom" stuff".

Could have given me a blank page book.

I could have filled it out myself...but they did a heck of a job so I thought..."fuck it....I'll let them do the heavy lifting".

I could go on for days.

No way 40 pages can possibly cover that question.

I don't give a shit what any of your Moms have done....Mine outpaces every one of yours.

She completely rocks :)

MY Mom is the best!

Well....if I'm on that list, I'll take the following:

1) Mortgage paid off.

2) Pamela Anderson.

3) Pamela Anderson.

4) Pamela Anderson.

And...if you can't pay off the mortgage or give me Pamela Anderson....

I'll take Pamela Anderson as my 5th choice.

TN, if the list is about what YOU want for Christmas, how about a gift certificate to the tatoo parlour of your choice, membership to a shooting range (if you haven't one already), ammo, a work certificate from someone willing to do anything you want in your garden, unique seeds or seedlings for your garden, a gift cert. to your favorite sushi place, sushi making supplies, a private lesson from a professional sushi chef, a gift cert. from your favorite book store...

Passion Perfume by Elizabeth Taylor for me. My .5 oz bottle is almost empty.

A new foot pumice board for Mom.

The money that Lizard owes me for getting most of her books ready for college (got to love Ebay).

A trip to Houston to meet a certain Dom.

Wow, all those are terrific ideas. I have taken bits and pieces of everyone's ideas...but I think the hubs might keep Pamela Anderson for himself. :)
Thanks so much!!!

We bought a fixer last December...so the standard for every event is gift cards to Lowes, Home Depot or Sears.

For my personal list: new slippers, a new robe, A Keurig, a Soda Stream, Diablo III and I have pointed out a ring that I like.

Aries, there is no such thing as too many or enough gifts lol.

O, I was thinking of asking for WoW (panda expansion) but I think I am getting that already.

I asked my husband for some alone time. Time without the dogs, without family, without distractions just the two of us. I have a hard time figuring out why we don't have all that much alone time. It's not like we have kids (we have dogs, but not kids). We can go out and do something or we can stay home and hang out. I just simply want some time alone.
