LOL (said in gest) i would cry each and every day if my hair were shaved off and most likely have to cover up every mirror in the house. i am waaayyyy too attached to my hair and i thank god that my Daddy/Master is too! Whew Whew and 1000 times Whew! i think i would look so not cute (what was that TLC song? Damn Un-Pretty?  yep that'd be me)

That being said, some women can look AMAZING with short to shaved hair and it is a sign (from a psych. standpoint) of a good self-esteem.

I spent a long while being cue ball bald due to chemo when i was 27 and well  I opted for a double mastectomy rather than relive THAT nightmare again...
 
I don't know if it is just me but well after the first time my mother agrilly chopped off my waiste length hair when i was 5.....um I have hair issues....

Status: offline 		Perhaps if the girl had a very very short pixie cut that would only take a month or so to grow back.. and the deed was bad enough to warrent a month or so of punishment.

That said, I shave my head when my mom went through chemo as a show of love and sympathy. Due to all the high emotions that were going on at the time, I don't think I would ever shave my head for another reason.

Status: offline 		I keep my hair short, and in the past have kept it at 1/8" long, but never 'Bic'd' bald. I feel it's very sexy, if you don't have a funny head. You do have to deal with a lot of issues now, though, with all the Shave Your Head For Cancer and actual cancer patients around.

I certainly wouldn't make it a punishment. If I had a girl and she wanted a transformation, I would be happy to shave her head for her, but so many women connect their hair with their femininity that I don't feel it's fair to take that from them, unless you know they are in need of that change (and then it's still up to them if it's a hard limit).

you have a sense of cruel behavior i have not seen. i do not want to insult you at all. i am a breast cancer suvoir and i can tell you that losing my hair was so tramatic that i almost lose my mind it took away my last hope of living i lost hair everywhere you can think of this is why i do not want to have my private area shave been there done that. when my hair came out it was in hand fulls i was pulling and it was death to the root i sat and cried for hours in that cold water.
 
you may think this is the greatest punlishment you may have thought of but it is not a punishment it is a cruel and unusual punishment. what will you do after all the hair is gone what punishment will you use next? shave the brown pull eyelashes out you see it is not the best one to think of it will have a sense of terror in the women or woman you pick but what next. from my point it will not work sure she may listen but she will lose her sexual love for you for not woman feel sexy will her master has shave her. my opinion

'a very special book'

...in my years of non-consensual slavery to my evangelical christian father, this exact passage was used to justify the forcing of me to keep my hair long when it made me miserable.

He was horrified when I left to go to the stylist with long hair and came home with a crew cut.  He called me 'My daughter the son' after that.

I guess he never thought about that whole 'free will' thing with any seriousness...or thought it only applied to adult white males.

Give me a bald head any day, especially if that 'special' book calls for a woman to have hair.

Status: offline 		Not a fan. If you are wanting to deprive her of her hair (her "crowning glory" so to speak, I'd do it on a temporary basis via a hood or bathing cap if that's your inclination. I can't imagine for the sake of a BDSM relationship requiring a woman to shave her head. However, throw in a few wigs of various colors and lengths and you could have some fun with it.

Status: offline 		My original post to this thread points out that while I prefer a shaved slave, it isn't mandatory.
I use head shaving as an initiation into slavery to me, not as a punishment.
I'd dismiss a slave before I would shave their head as punishment. 
I have had more than one slave with a full head of long hair, both male and female, and I have also had slaves whose heads I shaved. Some people don't look good with shaved heads, and I wouldn't shave someone who I thought the effect wouldn't be flattering on. I want beautiful slaves.

I personally will never willingly let my hair grow out apart from a topknot in the back, and prefer it razor smooth, and don't give a rat's ass whether or not anyone thinks my glory is affected.
I sure don't think hair is a crowning glory, but know others don't see it that way.

In other words, a must have shaved head was for me.

Status: offline 		For me I am in total agreement with myself...A great punishment for not complying with my wishes...A shaved head on a female slave is as a matter of fact a very humilating experience for a woman of submission, to give me pleasure with her head is a great feeling after the fact of shaving,great I assume for a female Dom it would feel like child birth down their.....(LOL)...Any female slaves who would like to explore the subject e/male me at [email protected] let's see the results after I shave your head ..

I also would not demand it of a female sub. If she wanted to, that would be fine, but I love to run my fingers through hair, the longer and fuller the better. I have a definite love of hair, and so a bald head would not be something I'd ask of a sub. Of course, short hair and bald head are fine if you already come that way, but I'd like it long unless she likes androgyny and is willing to dress as a sexy boy.

It was actually a very liberating experience, not waking up to "bedhead", not having to worry about how my hair looked before I went out, no split ends, and the wind made the most funny tickle on my scalp. *giggle* I've considered doing it again but at the end of the day, I'm just too damn vain. I look better with longer hair, and every so often I just like to have someone tangle their hands in it and just...yank. *sigh*

That being said, I could see hair shaving as an act of devotion to one's dominant, relinquishing one's vanity and ego, but I personally wouldn't approve of it being used as a punishment. Takes too long to grow back, especially if they had long hair to begin with. And its not exactly a punishment you can use very often is it? However, if thats your kink and you can find someone who consents, run with it and have fun!

Status: offline 		If it's a fetish, then you're inventing punishments to indulge yourself. And that just makes you someone not worthy of respect IMO. 

For me, any action I would do that would deserve to be punished for over a year is an action that would permanently ruin our relationship. So in effect, he wouldn't be punishing me, forgiving me and having us grow stronger together, instead it would be for revenge followed by his moving on and leaving me bald so he could look back and laugh.

Side note, some women look good with very short hair or bald. I'm not one of them, my skull is bumpy and I'd look unattractive as hell for a very long time. Refer back here to revenge statement.

Status: offline 		Don't even dare touching my hair, if anyone wants to comment on my hair..they may comment and make suggestions on it but don't they dare touching it dom,domina,sub,slave,vanilla, aliens,  reptiles..etc...I  don't care they will leave it up to me whether they like it or not, but I am flexible though which means..I might consider their suggestions
