Yes, I have taken personal offence when someone touts a blatant lie as the "truth".

LOL. I think you need to get out of the house more.

Seriously though,is it possible we could get back to talking about the re-emergence of the John Birch Society(or at least large components of it's plank).
Didn't William F Buckley(the patron saint of the modern conservatism movement) disavow and banish these idiots from the public discourse ?

Santorum is doing nothing more than feeding the conspiracy theorists when he rails against the UN supplanting American sovereignty.Rational minds know this is lunacy, yet the theory just refuses to die(thank you Mr.Santorum)this is right in the "Birthers" wheelhouse, you merge the two theory's together and you have yourself the mother of all conspiracies.
A foreign born President actively working to hand over U.S, sovereignty to the future "world government".

Wait, what?  The John Birch society is back?

I have to go listen to Charlie Daniels' "Uneasy Rider," now.

Bob did a song about that as well...
(WTF is that record label from, though? That isn't The Freewheeling Bob Dylan, whatever the hell it is.)

He does a really good Dylan impersonation if so. I was sure that was Bob's version.

Both were influenced by Woody Guthrie.

Compare and contrast.  Discuss.

Since Papa Bush negotiated the treaty, I was left wondering how the right would have acted if it had been signed by G.W. Bush or by a President McCain (who did vote for its ratification) or a President Romney. Would we have seen such vehement opposition to its ratification in any such case? Or is the opposition more rightly caused by it having been signed by Obama?

I'm not sure it ever left.
