OMY, a subject NEAR and DEAR to My heart as a nicely heterosexual woman and artist.
I say, there's quite a difference between giving up one's body for art's sake and then again, one's body for man's sake. :)

I would rather not be expected to carry a complete furnace or such on my back by myself.
Wonderful woman I know went through all that training just to get fired over such a thing. She was dancing the next night. I played guitar with her. Her daughter was eleven years old at the time. I did NOT judge. I DID, however express my deepest sympathies, and said that I did NOT know how it was like, but rescued a dancer from a hostage situation once by being her point of contact.
Please understand that I believe women should NOT be on the front line, but that's what they signed up for and they know it. Silenty and bravely risking rape, torture and various other unmentionable things that I don't care to have done to Me, personally. But, hey, it's not for this reason; it's for the reason that the gentleman on the right or left won't be concerned about His ass, he'll be disconcerted by covering the woman's, not taking the woman's necessarily. No sense in getting two killed instead of one IF it came down to that.
It occurs to me that I really don't like women who beat men out of their anger or past abuse. What's worse is when they cry 'wolf' and make it SO hard for the women who genuinely need a gentleman's help and caring. God bless my nephew. *cries a bit*
It makes perfect sense that lesbians are in politics. And in the kitchen, the shower, the car, on the toilet, at the gas station, uhhhhhhhhHHHHHhhhhhhnnnnn. etCETera.....etCETera..... Lesbianism does NOT equal feminism. What I DON'T like is anyone who uses their sexual orientation to abuse another label.

I'm heterosexual and horny, whatever objectification from me a man feels, he should LIKE with his permission. I am NOT superior to MEN. I am a helpmate, a masseuse, a kisser, a nurse, a doctor, a pharmacist..... uhhhhhhhhHHHHHhhhhhhnnnnn. etCETera.....etCETera
