ExquisiteStings -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/8/2012 12:38:00 AM)

I like the photo of those gold bars, they look like chocolate bars and I just looovvve chocolate. But not Hershey bars anymore because they have this weird emulsifier in it that's derived from the same plant as a major nerve poison. This emulsifier they call it PGPR on the initials, not wanting you to know what the actual name is; Polyglycerol, polyRICINoleate. nerve toxin- RICIN. Anything that is molecularly similar to a major nerve toxin, I sure as shit do NOT want to be consuming in the my chocolate.  Hershey's, the great American chocolate bar now contains some weird ingredient that's derived from the same plant that a major nerve biochemical nerve toxin is, the castor bean plant . Ricin is the toxin. For which there is no antidote.  Even though this subject is totally not related to financial dommes and pro dommes and prostitutes, I thought ya'll might want to think of what's going into our food these days and start a thread on that...major corporations poisoning the populace to save on food costs...oh and draksoul...pro dommes are not whores. They don't fuck their sub's for cash. Their sub's pay for a fantasy..not every sub can live the life 24/7 because everyday life gets in the way..so ProDommes step in and give theses sub's a reprieve and get paid for it...The ProDommes have overhead too...purchase and maintenance of equipment and dungeon rental if they don't have their own..things of that nature..but they don't have sex with their sub's. And if they do, they're either hookers with whips or they're violating the number one rule of any Professional Dominatrix.

this may draw the ire of some folks, but when someone pays to get off, even when there's no fluids exchanged or skin contact, it's sex work. c'mon, are we really grasping at straws with these definitions?

nothing wrong with erotic services, giving or receiving. but let's call it what it is. i think it's interesting that in a lot of circles prostitutes are "degraded", "exploited" or "victims" of human trafficking (to echo the dominant discourse on sex workers in the US) but fin-dommes are "liberated," and "providing a service." i think it's a false dichotomy, personally.

I have no problems with prostitutes. I wish the industry was legal... for many reasons. But to degrade a findomme and then suggest someone else go watch a porn flick instead.... come on. There is no difference between those two. Both are via the same medium... neither touch the person viewing.. and both get paid.

absolutchocolat -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/8/2012 1:23:54 AM)

pretty much! [:)]

tazzygirl -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/8/2012 1:27:46 AM)

So, to me, if a findomme is a prostitute, then so is a porn actress, and anyone who watches the porn video is a john and should be arrested.

if watching porn becomes a criminal act, this little morsel is gonna be breaking the law. 'cause i needs my porn. [;)]

More offensive than the implication/accusation of being a prostitute, is the notion that a prostitute is the worst thing you could be. The finger wagging and whorespotting is super tired.

I will never understand the need to fixate on activities one has no intention or ability to engage in.

Seriously?? Omg.

AllisonWilder -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/8/2012 9:16:25 PM)

I'm a findomme and I've never used any of the chat features here (I'm old-fashioned, I like messages, discussion forums, phone calls and real-time). Does that still make me a prostitute? I'd just like to know now so that I can file it appropriately on my tax return next month.

MistressZaraUK -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/9/2012 7:23:48 AM)

Oh dear

Yet another spiteful post having a dig at the findomme / prodomme members of the site :-(

These people really need to get a life

MistressDanger -> RE: Financial Dommes vs. Prostitution (12/13/2012 7:12:47 PM)

The difference is prostitutes sell their pussy to get their money, your not getting my pussy and I still get paid, men want to do for me, they have a mind of their own they know what the fuck they are doing I don't have a gun to their heads.

Just like they pay me to tie them up and beat the the breaks off of them, being a sadist is my sex, you get off your way, they get off their way and I get off my way. Who are we to judge anyone all of us are fucked up some how in some way we are on collar me. I don't have to hide my lifestyle from people this is who I am every single day 24/7. Most people on here live double lives so when you have to live a double life and hide who you really are inside who are you to judge what anybody else does.
