I've never really come across buttermilk as an ingredient in English baking so I'm a bit stumped. I remember trying to buy some for an American recipe once and not being able to find it in any of our supermarkets, so it's not common. Do you just use it as you would use regular milk in a recipe? I hear mention of buttermilk pancakes and waffles and they sound delicious, I want some delicious! Chatte - it was so very easy, I can see me making a lot of it. Much easier than I thought.
