WHOO HOOO

After a year of suffering in Customer Service Hell. I finally got a Tech Support Interview, If I get it, More money, More Respect, More Power, The Opportunity to travel.

Yes, I know, don't count your chickens and all that but starting salary is 37k, Who wouldn't want that!

But to the point of my post. As I have stated before, I have a netbook, that I took from being overloaded with:
bootleg movies
someone's photos of their homely kid and their ugly wife
two different known malware programs
three different non working firewalls and virus scanners
25 viruses
well over a thousand registry errors
a copy of Cain and Able (Network Hacking program)
a dialer program (Calling some foreign country)

and the list goes on!

I am thinking, when I go to the interview of carrying the netbook with me, and showing it to the guy and explaining the situation that it was in and showing him how fast it responds now.

But at the same point in time I am wondering if that might be overkill

As a former boss/interviewer...if you give me the list of things you fixed & a perfect running computer, after I got done laughing I would ask how you plan to prove to me this perfect running computer used to be a disease infested piece of crap.

Sounds like a bad idea indeed. This is the reason why many tech supoort companies confiscate personal divices at the door before everyone's shift--

they don't want you messing with their system, nor a customers.... let alone having a lone-hacker who enjoys showing his 'hobbies' as if they were legitimate deeds as is. I'd suggest you just put on your best shoes an smelling good. Keep it simple.
