is appropriate in its content and amount of coverage? I watch the tv and feel as if the commentators are slathering in their eagerness to discuss dead children. Tell me i'm wrong. It's disgusting to watch. Comments?

Is that really surprising? What's the old saying, if it bleeds it leads. Journalists and politicians are carrion feeders. They feed on tragedy.

So turn it off. I've only had the TV on briefly this evening, went nowhere near the news channels. Watch the Mayan Calendar countdown or something.

oh yeah - went from the news channel to the Big Bang Theory... Back in the day you could watch the news and get an unbiased reporting of the news. It wasn't manufactured by the "reporters" and the news channels - it was actually based on events in the world. What i see passing for news is an agenda from various "news" agencies. It should come with a consumers warning - "This show has been determined to be hazardous for your health".
