I'm decidedly Dominant, and it's important for me to find a sub.

However, I also know that I am seeking a deeper relationship, of which D/s is only one aspect. It sometimes seems like there's nobody on this site that feels this way.

I'd expect Boston to have a good scene. I know of NESS (New England Spanking Society) - there's gotta be other groups.

My problem may be that I'm not a scene person. There's a bunch of big groups here, but I have no interest in joining them. For me, I prefer my sexuality to be more of a private and intimate thing.

I hope you find our discussion groups to be informative and enjoyable. There is a lot of combined wisdom here, a lot of various opinions (which sparks some interesting debates sometimes!), and a lot of good information shared. There are folks into the public scene and others who are more private. Both avenues are discussed here on these boards.

I'm not much of a "scene" person either. But, sometimes I think it might be a good idea to go to a munch just to meet real folks in the lifestyle. Might be fun to chat with people who like kink!

if you're into the local scene at all, Cambridgeside Galleria has a great munch twice a month, and sometimes Kink Academy has fun events and classes at the Democracy Center near Harvard Square. welcome!

ETA: erm...shoulda read first. gonna leave this up in case others need the info.
