I'm sure lots of people have noticed... Over the last couple of weeks, there have been a whole raft of new profiles appearing on CM with the location given as a single capital letter in the UK, for instance: M, UK. What gives? The profiles are all very different, and some of them have photos, but they must surely be the work of one person? I've spotted about fifteen so far, and new ones are appearing almost every day. I have paged several of them, but I am either ignored or refused. Has anyone actually spoken to any of these "people"?

I haven't noticed - but then, I do not really look through the ads. If they are not answering and you are seeing many and it is setting up 'red flags' then just ignore and look past them would be my suggestion. Anything that makes you question, makes it difficult to trust. Peace and Rapture

Wow..i have received several emails from men who have a single letter listed for their city here in the United States too!

I've seen one or two, but not enough to wonder about a scammer....Was having fun a couple of months back spotting one that had about twenty accounts all the same writing style and photos obviously scanned in from mags. If it worries you, just 'block' and 'hide profile', then forget about them.

i think you might find it being a location like Manchester, UK = M,UK....im only guessing as im from North London, UK.....the fact that it shows the owner of the profiles is too darn lazy to type out the full location..... just trying to help here cheeky

After seeing a couple, I concluded (possibly incorrectly) that 1) they were all by the same person, and 2) were all fake. My reasons were: - they were all very short, and in the same style - the pictures were too good, not taken by amateurs Since I concluded that, I've probably hidden 15 to 20 of them; the pattern hasn't varied once. I really appreciate the creator of them using single-letter city names; it makes them much quicker to spot and hide
