I alwasy had the issue of spanking being misundrstood as BDSMm even if there is some common issues, I see it as different... any thoughts?

Y'know, I've never understood that.

BDSM parties are in dungeons. Spanking parties are in brightly lit places. Spanko purists have little to no interest in BDSM. BDSMers kinda consider spanking to be lightweight.
