Hi All, Just to say I had a not very nice experience a little while ago. Recieved a message from someone who wanted to do all kinds of nasty stuff and offered a severe beating for disobedience. I may be a sub,but I also have feelings. This was re[ported by myself and i would like to know how i can speak to moderators to see if this person will be removed from the site or of I'm being too naiive. thank you. yours, L.xx

slapperareus, You have to remember you are online and that many that will contact you are players and not really Doms/Dommes. You might have to grow a little thicker skin. Welcome to CM, sorry your first experience here was a bad one.

You're being too naive. You're on an adult website, for an alternative lifestyle which many people consider to be "nasty stuff." Some people are more "nasty" than others here, and some more open about it. You'll get a lot more of those messages, and live will go on. Block, delete.... Yours, benji

Thanks, I'm not a kid,I'm a grown woman of 42. maybe my idea of fun doesn't involve a beating,been there ,got the tshirt,and the fractures! I know there's a fine line ,but this freaked me,sorry if you think i'm spoiling people's fun. I like pain,but in an agreed and safe environment. No disrespect,thanks for replying. Lxx

It's the forum rankings - 1-25 = Vanilla, then newbie, kinky, something something something..... I'm not good at explaining things. To many many many people on this site, a good time does involve a beating. Granted, I would not immediately drop to my knees for someone offering it on first contact (OK, I would) but it will happen that people suggest that, and worse. Yours, benji

Dear Slapperareus, Greetings hon, I dont mean anything badly by this dear, but your statements did sound rather...contradicting. You are on a bdsm site, and as Im sure you well know, that is a rather open view of many things. Not all crave and desire the same things..which is why many of us are on the quests that we are, to find those that are looking for things much the same. Its as well, not always easy to find those that agree totally with any one persons views on what is of interest. When ever I recieve letters such as that, including things I may not care for myself, I try to reply and be polite, and just say Im not really into the same things they maybe, but its very nice that they took the time to write, and show an interest in you. You should be flattered dear...not insulted and upset. Your going to find many different views and ideas here, and its a great way to learn about everything...and meet friends and such. But, really, I think youll find, if you give people here a chance, not many are here to be mean, rude, or scarey (well, sometimes, scarey is fun too...lol). Just...relaxe, and have fun while your here hon. Give it a chance, keep a very open mind, and remember, not everyone shares the same views as you do....and thats a wonderful thing, because it opens a whole new world one can learn so much in...and for alot of us, me included, thats a big part of why we chose to be here..to learn and become better in our desires. So...relaxe!

Hello slapperareus If you get unwanted mail like that, you can block the sender - just like you can block people from this side. People automatically asume that because it is a BDSM site that all people want is a bit of punishment and dirty emails. You get them. I wouldn't say your naive, just know that there are people who either play games, or are just a different orientation from you. Personally think it is rude to be approached in such a manner myself - BDSM site or not - they could at least say hello first. Politeness and all that. Just ignore the comments (unless you find them threatening) - I wouldn't even bother responding and that should be enough of a response. The Vanilla sign is just a post signal. The more you post, the more your icon changes and you get a different label. So do not worry about that. Hope you enjoy your time at CM - even with such a negative start. Peace and Rapture

Hi there L.xx, You have every right to your feelings. As you manuver this site you will learn the workings around here and hopefully develop a tougher skin and leaarn to ignore the aholes that will try to get a rise out of you by sending you all kinds of offensive messages whether that be via email or right here on these message boards. Just think of that previous email as your initiation to CM. WELCOME! Its only just begun. I had a few shocks when I first joined, but realized its par for the course. As mentioned, there are a multitude of ways to block users, I do suggest you look for those magical buttons and make good use of them. Its never wrong to report the little buggers to the Moderators if they continue thier pesky ways. And those little simbols, vanilla and such progress to various stages of perversions as your postings increase. Pretty ingenious don't you think, kind of like a mind phuck in a way. LOL Keeps some people actively posting as to avoid being classified as vanilla or newbie. No whips, paddles or canes required. [;)] Enjoy the boards. Rosa
