Sounds like you have a future in mixed martial arts since you never tap out.

Does getting beaten turn you on at all or do you see your stoicism as a practical joke on the domme? What's in it for you?

No, not all of use do.
I'm afraid it's not my cup of tea to beat the living daylights out of someone in hopes of getting a "rise"
(physically or verbally) out of them!

I am heavily into sensation play also, with Sensory Deprivation at the top of my "favorites list."
And trust me when I say it is verrrrrrrry possible to make someone "hurt"...and moan... and beg without raising a corporal hand to them. :)

I think it just shows a lack of imagination on the part of the two doms involved if honest, any monkey can beat up on someone.

Half the trick is to get into the head space of the sub, work on their fears and vulnerabilities get that right and you can break anyone.

I'd like to know that what I'm doing is having at least some effect on the sub, as indicated by his gasping, squirming, etc. If the best I've got elicits nothing more than a yawn, we're probably not a good match. I don't want to have to keep "upping the ante" just to prove that I'm "tough" enough. Then again, I also wouldn't want a sub to fake it, and pretend that I'm causing discomfort if I'm really not.

True but if this is the starting place "to make a point" where do you go from here?? Bigger, badder, harder, faster is only fun for so long. "Proving dominance with pain" on a daily basis becomes a chore at some point
