Gun mag prices have doubled and many places are sold.oit.

Suppose that depends on where you shop. I can still find 30 round PMAGS for $11.49 and Glock mags for under $20, but I'm all set for mags anyway.

Similar to you but its a completely different gun.

All those countries makarov parts will interchange. CZ83 is a very different gun. Czechs even tried to.have a different rifle caliber than the Rusians, 7.62x45, great round, best postwar round to this day.

Yeah, I was looking for a reliable, home defense gun that fit my hand. I stopped looking at the CZ82 when I was told that it wasn't as reliable.

Whoever told you that probably didnt have any cz83s but had Makarovs. However the mak is a rather flawless pistol.

Not all mags are equal, some mags are hard to get, and not everyone raises their prices.

What is a pmag? I am so old, my ppk is 1938, my carry.pistol is wwii, and well the rest vary.

It is certainly time to buy a gun(s) and ammunition. Obama administration is determined to launch an effort to severely restrict public self-defense ability.
No government wants citizens with guns, the like to rule over sheeple.

Hmm... I would expect most western governments to be worries mostly about these things called <finger quotes>Elections<\finger quotes>.

I don't know if you're familiar with the concept... it's fucking nifty though, and the hella awesome thing is that there is actually no need for an armed uprising in order to change the government, you just toodle down to a "voting booth" and have your say.

It is fucking amazingsauce.

That's the whacky, wonderful world of American contradictions.....a country which "boasts" less than 30% turnout of eligible voters for a national election has nearly 50% of it's citizens mouthing off about their 2nd amendment rights to resist their legally elected government....should it come to that.
I've used this before, but it has never been so apt...."Kafka himself could not have dreamed this shit up "

I've a great gun,it fits right into the palm of my hand,it's reliable(though it doesn't seem to hold as many rounds as years past) shoots great....and is no danger to anyone else.

Just sayin....

Gun control gave us gingrinch, ruined the end of Clintons presidency and probably gave us Bush who we still havent recovered from.

Gun owners vote, sadly they vote center right.

I sure hope history doesnt repeat itself.

The chinese ones cant be imported cause of reagan or clinton?

East germans are nice but the bulgarian ones a just as good.

The polish ones were made at RADOM so i cant imagine they were bad but i dont know.

interesting obsevation I have a radom p35 except that it won't feed hollow points it is a great gun and it was made in 42 for the german army

Elections are a farce when the back room guys manipulate the candidates. WHO picked Romney? All the credible candidates looked at the likely outcome and ducked Obama this time around. We get to choose between the two candidates professional political operatives enable to reach suitable visibility, AT BEST. One reason so few Americans vote is likely that no candidates are up that they think will actually make a difference. Just the same old same ol'. Our local elections are more dilemmas than choices. I end up voting for the least worst.

A gunsmith should be able to reshape the feed ramp on the P-35. It wasn't a criteria as carrying hollow points got you shot if captured in WWII. If you like the ballistics of the round, there are hollow points with plastic nose plugs to feed more reliably which don't affect expansion. NATO spec 9mm shouldn't need expansion to perform well though there is less chance of over-penetration and hitting unintended targets with expansion. P-35s like other single action trigger semis are often carried with a round in the chamber and uncocked, for the Israeli draw. Carried cocked and safety on, and not much practice, shooting oneself in the leg is not at all impossible. Hollow points in that eventuality produce considerable buyer remorse?

People considering a side arm for actual protection really should fire a variety of guns at shooting ranges. How the gun fits individual hands affects both accuracy and confidence. Two vital factors when actually needing lethal force. My brother carries a 1911 on horseback normally working a ranch. Far too heavy for me and the grip angle doesn't feel right. I like the P-35 but the CZ 75 and Sig 226 feel like they were molded from my hand. I know people who shoot better with certain wheelguns. If you need more than 6, you probably need a rifle?

I own a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic pistol with two 16 round clips. 17 total possible if you keep one in the chamber. The clips would have been illegal for sale under the 1994 Clinton Assault Weapon ban. They'll likely be illegal for sale after all the smoke clears - maybe illegal to own. I stopped by the gun shop the other day. Watched a guy purchase an AR-15. That's a fucking scary looking gun.

Exactly whose fault is it that the Republicans when faced with the most ineffectual POTUS in generations to run against, an economy in the tank and a Billion dollars to spend still managed to L-O-S-E?

ty for the site and the previous one. I was looking for available. Everything Ive found for sale is another size. I didn't say there didn't exist, I said that's all I could find. Every site on here that has shown 16 round mags with or without the firearm is out of stock and/or cannot backorder.
Personally, I have a revolver and shotgun for the house.
Glaser safety slugs in the revolver to prevent overpenetration.
Shotguns don't tend to have that problem.
