Status: offline 		The US always said that its supporting freedom and democracy and that its against terrorism, but facts tell different...

And lets take a look at terrorism...

Take Al-Qaeda: US supported them in Afghanistan agains the SU (after that they named themselfs officially Al-Qaeda)
Then they "fought" them in Afghanistan, wich eventually only made them bigger and stronger becouse the US killed thousends of innocent people.
Now the US is back supporting them in Syria.

Whats up with that?

There are lots of examples like this one, in the long term its just a fact that the US supported/supports them... with or without "fighting" them.

Status: offline 		The more powerful a country, the more it condemns terrorism while the more it supports terrorism, simply because it labels anything against its own interest as terrorism, which is really other countries acting as sovereign nations. This is nothing unique to the USA, the USA just happens to be the most powerful country at the moment. In another 30 years it will probably be China.

No. It apparently is intended to mean that the US originated and came up with this whole concept all on its own, and is the worst offender in all of history..

Citizens of kingdom and commonwealth countries tell us this all the time. It must be true.

I appreciate the great effort and fortitude that it must have taken to hit the "copy" function in one instance, and then the phenomenal courage it must have involved in clicking the "paste" function sometime after. What a great amount of personal effort and research, not to mention unwavering resolve, went into all that, as witnessed by your detailed account and explication of every instance cited.

Nor had any of us known before that the UK, Spain, France, Russia, Korea, Colombia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, et al. never had anything themselves to do with what you copy/pasted.

I'm sure you yourself have vetted and verified the assertions in each and every instance, to some modicum of actual understanding of each particular history.


In any event, I do appreciate revisionist history as much as the next person (which is why I so enjoy some particular items from the copy/paste lore you've provided), but the glaring absence of El Salvador from the well-typed copy/paste list seems quite conspicuous, from an otherwise truly authentic copy/paste. Internet research, copy/paste-based as it is, still needs to retain some measure of notional reality, however meddlesome that can be at times.

Keep up the good work, and keep your chin up.

This is called global politics. There is no US: ask yourself how global politics is made, who conducts it? In many cases in the past the US population as a whole benefited from these policies. Today it is not the case any more. The direction has been taken to build a global corporate empire and the US population interest is not relevant any more. The major setback in the path was at the end of Clinton presidency when they lost an effort to bring Russia into the system. Then the international "terrorism" problem was invented and they exploit it with some success until today. The overall trend is troublesome, the strategy needs change and the US elites have basically lost its head; they can not change. It may have to do with the age of long-term policymakers, they are very old. It reminds the fall of Soviet Union; the politburo had average age over 80. Do not think Obama has much to do with this: he is a pure puppet.
US citizens need not to worry about all this, just eat Soylent Green and be happy.

Status: offline 		I agree we did a pretty good job raising the world to a new pinnacle of freedom and prosperity under our watch. There is more world freedom today than any time in history and all those that follow our lead, at least in economics, can feed their citizens.

Now all we need to do is get ride of those pesky liberal websites where haters spew their jealous envious bullshit thinking anyone gives a crap.

If there is more freedom around it has nothing to do with the USA but people who have freed themselves. The USA after all supported just about every fascist dictatorship and their death squads all over south and central America, supported most brutal Arab dictatorships. Supported Iran's brutal dictatorship, fought a colonial war in Vietnam and Korea.

And if you are up to thinking, you will realise there isn't that much freedom in the west either and that includes the USA but I doubt you can think your way through the consumer capitalist propaganda.
