One of my friends has her concealed weapons permit. My mom was in town and my husband was working overnight so we ventured to the city. She had her glock, a 22 and a can of mace. We were getting ready to get out of the car and I am giving her a look. She says what all innocent. I said anything else? She smiled and said no I left my taser at home. I laughed and said God paranoid much?? This was well before even the mall shooting in Colorado. I think she wants to be prepared at all times.

Hey fireplay can really come in handy. Zombies are afraid of fire aren't they??

What you need to deal with the zombies themselves is heavy equipment. Depending on the mythos you choose that means lots of fire, guns or something heavy enough to damage the brain stem. None of my play toys fit that equation.

Now for suspected zombies there are ropes, chains, and cuffs. The problem there is that you need to keep your toys separated from the devices used to restrain suspected zombies until they are cleared. But what happens if they get mixed up?

"Hey sweety, it's a good thing we tied up that sheriff from Atlanta. Turns out he was scratched by a walker! Well that's over at least. Hey, want to have some tie-me-up fun? WHY ARE YOU EATING MY FACE!"

LOL our sheriff is either a zombie or a pot head. Not sure which either way he is brainless. The only ones that did vote for him this time around were the pot and meth heads.

My teenage son assured me that in the event of a zombie attack he has our backs so I guess we are all good here. LOL

Wood kitchen utensils work wonderful on open fires, plastic melts and metal can get to hot.
