I was wondering if any one has had personal experience with a financial slave. If so what does it entail? Any information you have, even if it isn't with personal experiences would be most helpful.

no, but I do know that I'd pay top dollar for Fastlane, does that count?

Giggles

You can message me about this if you want to.

The only experience I've had with that involved a friend of mine, a submissive, who got involved with a Dom online.  He wanted her to move in with him, which she did, and surrender all her financial assets to him, which she did.  Meanwhile, he didn't work  - he let her support him, while he played on the internet and convinced at least one other woman to also move in with him and surrender her financial assets.  Basically, he was nothing but a lazy user, looking for women to support him.  My friend left him, and, since this was her first experience with a Dom, she became very disillusioned, and left the lifestyle entirely.  That was, perhaps, an extreme situation, but one, I think that highlights the need for caution in that area.  If two people are in a strong, committed relationship, I can see how financial slavery can enhance the relationship. Otherwise, I think it can be treading in dangerous waters. :)

In the right situation it works out really well, the sub knows that the Dom has TOTAL control, and in the right relationship it leaves the sub feeling somewhat loved by actions of the Dom

Sir KS,

Unfortunately what you described happens all to often.  These people aren't doms they are predators and should be firmly labeled as such.  NO submissive should ever feel that this life has gotten the best of them.

Dom/Dommes should enhance the life of the submissive not tear it down.  Submissives come to the relationship with the expectation of serving and believing that they have just place themselves in the life of someone wonderful that is capable of helping them be the best that they can be.  Any one that leaves a submissive worst off then they were when they met is a predator, pure and simple.  REAL DOM's should be upset that this happens at all and willing and eager to run the fakes off the internet, out the dungeon and away from this life completely.

subneicy,

Well said. Allowing for the basic, "we didn't take time to get to know each other" or "we didn't understand each other's needs" that any relationship could fall prey to, is there really any other standard to live by?

D's and M's are not predators. Predators are predators, regardless of the honorifics they use. And, why do I suspect, there are predatory submissives, also? Can't anyone be a playa?

All the best,

MH

Financial slavery, I have learned from Fastlane,,,who took my dollar, is a lesson in banking. If you have made a good investment and share the dollars, the commitment and the time, you will both reap dividends.
If not, you have made a bad investment and should buy junk Doms...or junk bonds.....something like that?....smiles

SpielMitMir -> RE: Financial Slavery? (6/20/2006 8:20:50 PM)

With my last pet/b.f he asked for it.

I think it was for the best. It helped him stop spending his whole life in a bar. It also helped him notice that money should be going for his school.

I couldn't see myself sitting back while my pet worked. It would have to be their choice to do something like that. But it would drive me crazy not doing something with my time.

You sure this ass wasn't kin to my latehusband. LMAO.

My late husband refused to work, I worked up until I gave birth to our son, doing maid service at a local hotel. One of the lowest forms of jobs I can think of.  Not sure what the hell is wrong with some men these days.

lostsoul92468 -> RE: Financial Slavery? (6/23/2006 9:06:26 AM)

i have had a bad experience in this. I transfered my job moved all of my things and was totured emotionally to the point that when i came in from work all of my belongings were gone and i was given nothing but old dirty overalls to wear and my uniforms for work. I had six pairs of undergarments and one bra which wasn't even mine. I simply walked away. Worked for 2 more weeks saved money and left town.
this is a practice that is not only dangerous but selfish as well.
