And I asked YOU what responsibilities a gun owner has.

And YOU still cannot answer.

Which plainly states YOU dont know.

What ARE your responsibilities as a gun owner?

What ways are there to ENSURE everyone is taking precautions that a responsible gun owner should take?

2 very simple questions YOU have yet to answer.

I can answer but will not till you answer my question which came first or are you afraid to answer

lol... your question came first?

I have been asking since the shooting.... and NO ONE seems to even want to try and answer.

It all comes down to gun owners, such as yourself, dont want to be inconvenienced even in the face of overwhelming evidence that gun owners arent responsible gun owners.

yes I asked you what other responsibilities and you started in on this song and dance about if I knew

Oh ffs.... still stomping your foot and pouting.

Face facts. You dont know. You cant answer. Which is why my proposal pisses you off. You cant counter it, because you know as well as I do that its true.... there are responsibilities that come with owning a gun... and there are people who are not living up to those responsibilities.

Ok... I cant deal with your long term and short term memory loss.

Have a good one.

Thank you for answering though. Your evasion is exactly what I expected.

Say what???? "non gun homicides"????

What is it you don't understand about the actual topic subject? "All things gun control go here". Or the massacre that started it?

Fact is, the stats show you're 40 times more likely to be murdered with a gun in the US than you are in Australia. *40 times*!!!!

Yeah, you have a point, you also have bans on swords and regulations on knives.

I have a suggestion, everyone that dont like guns move to australia.

if you ban guns and every person who no longer dies from a gun is killed by something else it didn't work
D C banned handguns and while the murder rate was dropping it doubled there because it was now safe for criminals to use other weapons

Yeah, true, but Australia has a lot of open undeveloped land that could be used for subdivisions

if gun control worked so well why did you have to outlaw swords and knives?

Early gun control worked well in Australia at keeping the aboriginal peoples from shooting back... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massacres_of_Indigenous_Australians

Then it was Asian youth gangs with deadly exotic knives and swords.

The politico/journo maneuvering in Australia (as elsewhere) is not without its share of blatantly racist agendas.

You say it like that's a bad thing....?

quote:

Huh? To quote the tourism ads, Australia is truly "the land of the great outdoors". And absolutely a great place for the sporting shooter - though not so much now, at the height of Summer, IMO. (oppressive heat & humidity, bugs, snakes, walking into friggin' cobwebs all the time....) I like my shooting, too, but I ain't that hardcore about it....

BUT....! Don't bother bringing your auto or semi auto if you wanna avoid prison. And then you'll actually need a valid reason (and no criminal record) in applying for a Shooter's Licence. "Just because" won't cut it - and certainly not the US's murderous personal or home defense malarky.

Focus.
