There's a new lifestyle movie that's just moved out of post-production, about a girl who decides to take up as the submissive of a rich arisotcrat. You can see the trailer here: http://www.thepetmovie.com

Has anyone heard anything else about this movie? When it might be released, where, etc? It's supposedly based on a true story, but I've not heard the background behind it. Anyone with details, please feel free to fill the rest of us in.

Meh.

I don't think this will have any impact on "The Secretary"'s place in the lifestyle pantheon. If it was just about the girl's life as a pet, it could have been something, but the introduction of the "dark underworld" that discovers their secret turns it into just another lifestyle exploitation flick.

The thing about "The Secretary" was that it wasn't about rich folks buying submissive women. It was about a couple mutually discovering that living a "sick" lifestyle might be the healthiest thing for both of them. This picture doesn't seem to be going for anything quite that meaningful...
