I read that Gerry Anderson died on Wednesday. I loved his series "The thunderbirds" and "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons" which were some of the rare scifi series on the Dutch television in those days.

Yow. Anderson did some amazing things on film, most of it unknown or forgotten in the USA. If you have a chance, snag any of "The NEW Captain Scarlet" episodes, or "Space Precinct."
