I don't know but men do the same thing. I have seen men on here as straight and over there as "heteroflexible"...........

Personally I see heteroflexible as bisexual. Either you are bi or you ain’t. Unlike the gradient Kinsey chart, I see things in the simplest shades sometimes. But I can see where heteroflexible may seem a more comfortable category for those when socially induced homophobia goes against the grain of their personal passions.

It's only been in the past few years where I have seen the term: heteroflexible be commonly used and it is this term I have a difficult time gaining a clear concept of what they are. As I see it,it indicates that the person is open to encounters with others on a sexual level which is opposite to how they themselves identify their sexual orientation. And yes, in some ways, I do perceive they use these terms to be a label which is a bit more PC then saying they are bisexual or bi curious.
Hiya, Bear. I hope all is well with you and yours.

If it helps any, I tend to see the term heteroflexible as sexual acts that were done, but not based on one's own sexual desire. Very closely associated with the authority and control aspects of dynamics. Kind of like those who are willing to endure pain to please the sadist, even though they aren't a masochist.

It's like being bar sexual. Fetlife is a fine place to meet people, but it has always felt like a sleazy pick-up bar to me. In the attention-competitive environment, a straight woman willing to indulge with the fairer sex might just take the leap and say "bi." This is why orientations should be replaced with a Kinsey scale number………..

So you feel it is environmental. So do I, but I am not sure which aspects of the environment.

You feel CollarMe is more respectable than the likes of sleazy Fet Life. So we walk a little straighter line over here and there are less people being bar sexual.

I'll reserve judgment on whether CM is "more respectable" but I'm willing to say it is more subdued. I also don't think there are fewer bar sexual people here, just fewer people being bar sexual. I think because there are no events and less public picture sharing here, there is no "bar" to be bar sexual in. FL feels likes a meat market to me. So I'm not surprised that the juicier bits of steak are jumping up and down yelling "pick me! pick me!" by making out with other girls.

Bar Sexual - What bitter women call other women who don't want to go home with them after a casual snog.

Boy do I have the song for you.

Thank you for sharing that excellent perspective.

Seriously, if we are to adopt hetroflexible as a valid term, you better be prepared to explain homoflexible too.

just sayin'

I actually have seen that on Fet, too! That's honestly not far off of of how I would describe myself, hahaha, since I'm more on the lesbian side of bisexual. I'm basically attracted to women (usually) and to dominant men (sometimes).

Well, I dropped my slave/bi/poly filters. Set for sub fems seeking anything. Holy cow... a different sub almost every minute in Florida.
