To answer your main question, follow two simple rules.
1. Be attractive.
2. Don't be unattractive.
MariaB seems to think that your painsluttiness might be quite attractive in some London circles, so that's a good start on #1. For #2, you could think of it as, "Don't be skeevy." If you actually give a crap about the women you are talking to, they will be much more likely to whip you until you bleed.
