I agree.
On the day after Christmas, I had at least 20 messages before I even finished writing my profile (and before it had even one picture).
At this point, about a fewer than two weeks after creating it, I have 8 pages in my mail and 25 pages in the bulk folder.
At 20 messages per page, that's over 650 people contacting me, which is more than 50 per day!
It really doesn't matter - I'm beginning ot think all that matters are the basic stats.
If you leave your profile alone, don't change anything or add or delete pictures, after a month or two you will find the numbers go tremendously down. You're new. You are still in the new meat market rack. You're new blood.
