I agree.

On the day after Christmas, I had at least 20 messages before I even finished writing my profile (and before it had even one picture).

At this point, about a fewer than two weeks after creating it, I have 8 pages in my mail and 25 pages in the bulk folder.
At 20 messages per page, that's over 650 people contacting me, which is more than 50 per day!

It really doesn't matter - I'm beginning ot think all that matters are the basic stats.

If you leave your profile alone, don't change anything or add or delete pictures, after a month or two you will find the numbers go tremendously down. You're new. You are still in the new meat market rack. You're new blood.

You're welcome to google my pics, as they're real.

My point to the OP was that she could just take a picture of her sitting in a chair or lounging on a piano - as long as she expressed herself with body language.

Well, they aren't stolen so I just may owe you an appolgy...and since they are actually hot and worth stealing, if am.wrong, I am sorry.

I would say post a photo of yourself smiling or a cute avatar or something you enjoy doing.

Don't put too much stock in what type of photo will attract a good one. It takes more than the photo.

Pictures people take of themselves as seen through a mirror while they are holding the camera drive me crazy...just nuts!

And with 4 "I wants" in 2 little paragraphs? I would rewrite your profile.
