The link I posted *is* supporting evidence... in a logical context. In a faith based, blind loyalty context it is of course, irrelevant. You just keep right on warming your head in the sands of denial, I'm not in the least bit interested in digging you out. Here's a lullaby... Christie, like all politicians is permanently honest and honorable, and it is impossible for history to ever repeat itself. quote:

ORIGINAL: Powergamz1 Ray Nagin's Aug 29th claims that New Orleans had as much damage as Nagasaki after the A-Bomb, that there were hundreds of thousands dead the first night, that the city's major buildings were toppled by winds, etc., were grotesque falsehoods. "Final reports indicate that the official death toll, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, was 1,464 people" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_Hurricane_Katrina_in_New_Orleans#Loss_of_life Note that some of the deaths, and much of the serious damage occured after the storm passed NOLA by. It's possible that history doesn't repeat itself, and that New Jersey politicians are immune to being corrupt... but I doubt it. Either way, it's not my job to talk anyone out of falling for hoaxes. .quote:
ORIGINAL: DesideriScuri quote:
ORIGINAL: Powergamz1 The 'er being 'Write a multi-billion dollar blank check for a natural occurence that didn't cause anywhere near as much destruction as we would like the public to think'. How naive would anyone have to be to not see this as a another Ray Naginesque Katrina shakedown? How naive would anyone have to be to think that money is actually going into the pockets of the poorest and most affected, instead of into the bank accounts of the rich politicians and their cronies? quote:
ORIGINAL: DesideriScuri Governor Christie simply says it the way it is, and seems to be less partisan and more "get 'er done." Gov. Christie crossed political lines when he openly thanked Obama for the disaster response. That along shows me he is willing to do what it takes to "get 'er done." Do you have any links supporting your allegation that there was far less damage caused than reported? I see, so you can show me Nagin's ridiculousness, but what of the Sandy damage? I'm not concerned with the Katrina hyperbole, as that's been reported, but I've not seen/heard anything about Sandy hyperbole. And, if you're going to make statements linking Gov. Christie's outrage to "Naginesque Katrina shakedown," shouldn't you show me evidence of Christie's shakedown, instead of Nagin's? If you're going to make claims, you probably should have some sort of supporting evidence. You aren't talking anyone out of falling for hoaxes when you can not, do not, or will not show there is a hoax in the first place.
