Honestly you would think by now some people would research more than just one news source.

One news source? When did they get a news source?

Ok ok ok... Fox News... that passes as their news source... perhaps Rush? Beck? They all pretty much follow the same script.

Well, maybe they can't read so the Mail's no good to them as a source?

Could be. Its not like Libya is the first time a President has been sued over the War Powers Act. Clinton was too... the Supreme Court refused to hear the case.

Libya, the Judge threw out the case based upon the Clinton Case.

IV. CONCLUSION
"It is evident that" the plaintiffs are "firmly committed" to ending U.S. military actions in
Libya, "but standing is not measured by the intensity of the litigant[s'] interest or the fervor of
[their] advocacy." Valley Forge Christian Coll., 454 U.S. at 765-66. Thus, for the reasons
explained above, the Court concludes that the plaintiffs have failed to demonstrate that they have
standing—either in their capacity as Members of the House of Representatives or because of
their status as taxpayers—to maintain this action. Accordingly, the Court will grant the
defendants' motion to dismiss this case for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction.
10
SO ORDERED this 20th day of October, 2011.

So you think Christie is pissed off cuz the inept teabaggers couldn't read or comprehend the War Powers Act?

The 'er being 'Write a multi-billion dollar blank check for a natural occurence that didn't cause anywhere near as much destruction as we would like the public to think'.

How naive would anyone have to be to not see this as a another Ray Naginesque Katrina shakedown?

How naive would anyone have to be to think that money is actually going into the pockets of the poorest and most affected, instead of into the bank accounts of the rich politicians and their cronies?

No, the tea party is pissed off over the whole budget deal and Boehner was scared they would get even madder about the Sandy package so soon after dragging their feet over that.

Well they voted in the fiscal cliff at the time, and they voted it in again, and they are pissed off at themselves?

How inept and teabaggerish is that?  Couldn't they blame it on Obama or Clinton or someone other than the responsible parties?

Where has it been found that he HAD NOT violated the War Powers Act?

The election, the fact that he is still president of the united state of america, the fact that the inept teabaggers and rush felchers couldn't get him convicted or impeached, and so on.......
Where is the proof that W and all republicans are not war criminals?

Well, according to your methodology, Bush was re-elected in 2004 and carried out his second term, and, he was neither convicted nor impeached, makes Bush and Co. not war criminals, either.

Btw, your use of the word, "ignorati" was completely hilarious! I literally lol'ed at it. Thank you for that bit o' humor.

Gov. Christie crossed political lines when he openly thanked Obama for the disaster response. That along shows me he is willing to do what it takes to "get 'er done."

Do you have any links supporting your allegation that there was far less damage caused than reported?

Ray Nagin's Aug 29th claims that New Orleans had as much damage as Nagasaki after the A-Bomb, that there were hundreds of thousands dead the first night, that the city's major buildings were toppled by winds, etc., were grotesque falsehoods.

"Final reports indicate that the official death toll, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, was 1,464 people" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_Hurricane_Katrina_in_New_Orleans#Loss_of_life

Note that some of the deaths, and much of the serious damage occured after the storm passed NOLA by.

It's possible that history doesn't repeat itself, and that New Jersey politicians are immune to being corrupt... but I doubt it.

Either way, it's not my job to talk anyone out of falling for hoaxes.

I see, so you can show me Nagin's ridiculousness, but what of the Sandy damage? I'm not concerned with the Katrina hyperbole, as that's been reported, but I've not seen/heard anything about Sandy hyperbole. And, if you're going to make statements linking Gov. Christie's outrage to "Naginesque Katrina shakedown," shouldn't you show me evidence of Christie's shakedown, instead of Nagin's?

If you're going to make claims, you probably should have some sort of supporting evidence. You aren't talking anyone out of falling for hoaxes when you can not, do not, or will not show there is a hoax in the first place.

When Katrina hits we conveniently have a Republican in the White House so the lack of response is his fault. Fast forward to Super Storm Sandy. We have a Democrat in the White House. Suddenly responsibility bypasses the WH and land in the lap of the Speaker who just happens to conveniently be a Republican. Stop me if you've heard this joke before.

The link I posted *is* supporting evidence... in a logical context.

In a faith based, blind loyalty context it is of course, irrelevant.

You just keep right on warming your head in the sands of denial, I'm not in the least bit interested in digging you out.

Here's a lullaby... Christie, like all politicians is permanently honest and honorable, and it is impossible for history to ever repeat itself.

Oh dont even try that.

Katrina was about response time.... unless you have reasons why ice meant for Katrina victims ended up in Maryland.

Whose fault? Brownies

Who appointed Brownie? Bush

No mythical connection there.,
