Hi,

I just joined this site this evening. Already I have a question. I wasn't sure where else to post it, so I thought I would try here.

Is there a way to change your name without deleting your profile and starting over? Apparently I should have used lowercase letters for my name. I discovered my error when I tried to enter a chat room.

I want to keep the same name, but change it to lowercase.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, IowaSub. Unfortunately, there are currently no options to change your user name.
The good news is, since you just joined, there isn't much history on the current one, so creating another won't hurt to much.

Don't the chatrooms allow lower case? or is this a 'you are a subbie and therefore don't deserve uppercase letters' thing, cos frankly, anyone that's saying that is quite pathetic! I am a subbie, but I am also a human being, my mother gave me my name and it has a capitol at the beginning of it, anyone trying to remove that can swivel...

Welcome to the boards!

What poise said is true I'm afraid. But just so you know, on the boards we don't expect all subs to use lower case. That tends to be a chatroom role play thing, so unless you are in a relationship with a dom who insists on it, feel free to tell people to sod off!

On here we are all equals who discuss all sorts of things.

Of course if it makes YOU happy to use lower case, have at it!

Following that logic I guess I'm really a sub since my name is not capitalized!

Welcome...not sure about why you want to make your name lowercase...Iowa is a state and proper noun and, anything used as a name is a proper noun...proper nouns should be capitalized.
