Better that elected REPRESENTATIVES vote the will of the people who elected them and when necessary come together is a equapartisan manner.
FDD, you know that is not how politics works in the United States. There is a strict, time honored, legal process.
1) Lie to the voters to get elected, beg for money to run your campaign while the local power brokers are getting you money from every person with an income over a million dollars.
2) Win the election by slinging mud on your opponent.
3) take oath of office.
4) Put up the "Politician for sale" sign that only lobbyists can see outside your office.
5) write a book that no one will ever read, has read and sell a few million copies, that never end up in a house, bookstore or library.
6( vote the way the guy that arranged for the new million dollar home being built on your lake front property to only cost you $10,000 tells you to vote.
