I read al jazeera web site when I want to see what's going on in that part of the world or to get the same story from another perspective. On the whole they seem like a pretty legit news organization. Sure, they can be slanted at times. But aren't all networks?

Funny - in all the years Al Gore has been in the public eye, I have never seen or heard Al Gore say anything about his being "against capitalism". The only people I have ever seen or heard saying that Al Gore was "against capitalism" is FOX, Right-wingers who write for Townhall.com, Right-wing talk radio hosts and people who contribute to militia and White supremicist websites like FreeRepublic and the Aryan Nations. Pretty much Lucy. I remember reading that first article about it online. I did not finish my breakfast cereal. It was nasty and funny at the same time. We still had Max the dog at the time. It was days before I stopped seeing a little Gore head on his body. ETA: It was an almost "South Parkish" visual.
