Maybe I missed the intent of the question... But to be considered a slave, there has to be at least some level of finnancial domination.

Being a Domme is a lot of work, looking beautiful is expensive and time consuming, they deserve to be spoiled.

It doesn't have to be total, but yes there has to be some level of financial control.

If my mistress can't make material demands, along with domestic, fetish, and otherwise... Then her control is not total.

I would disagree. Not all Masters/Mistresses want to control someone's wallet. Some, in fact, wouldn't consider a slave if it required them to take financial control of them.

This being said, you also seemed to miss the TOS where it says not to revive a thread that has been dormant for 3 months. The last post in this thread (before yours) was in early February. It is now June.

Yet you disallow that a dominant could actually make the determination that the slave is best able to handle the finances. Negating your belief that a dominant has to have some level of control.

Or simply that a dominant doesnt wish to control the slave's finances.

To me, that is the dominant's decision, not a hard and fast rule that they must have ultimate and complete control over finances in order for someone to be a slave.

Missed the mark, by about 30 days I guess... My bad. I've never come across that rule in online forums before, cause then new threads of the same subjects get created more often. But I'll remember for next time here.

Some good points were brought up about lifestyle Dommes choosing not to require financial domination or choosing to let the slave handle mutual finances. Either way, imo, the Domme has still exercised authority over finances, i.e. financial domination.

Whereas a Domme could not make these choices in the life of a submissive.

But these are my own concepts and ideas. Everyone defines slaves and submissives differently.

The "purists" definition of a slave is far more hardcore than my own.... Requiring 24/7 live-in conditions and total control.

See...I thought this was a serious question. I have always wondered how many subs/slaves (male or female) are into this particular kink. We get many of the Fin-Doms (good & bad) and know what they like but I am fascinated to know the reasons and the mindset of those who are on the sub side.
