Hi I have only recently started getting into this and see myself as a bit of a Domme but I am not sure where to start and I want to be the best Domme that I can be, how can I learn and where can I get more info?

Um, if your profile is written correctly, you're male. So, are you:

1. A straight woman who filled out her profile wrong, or
2. A gay man who posted in the wrong forum and used "Domme" in place of "Dom"?

The course of action depends on your gender and orientation.

No I am a woman who see's herself as Dominant but doesn't know where to start.

Use the Search feature to find posts by ResidentSadist. He has a link in his signature line to a book list with some excellent reading material. Start there. You should also try to find a kink group in your local area (FetLife is excellent for this) and attend some demonstrations.

First, join FetLife.com. Second, use it to find your local, real life BDSM community. Join it. Go to events. Meet people who are also into WIITWD. Make friends. Find mentors. Go to munches, seminars and play parties. Have fun.

And one more thing. If anybody gives you advice and uses the words "real" and "true" as in "Real domme" or "true submissive", ignore him, he's full of it.

However real male or true female in your profile are pretty darn important unless TG solves the male Domme mystery

Some people say the best way to learn to is sub for a domme/mistress. Talk to dommes about mentoring you. But the important part is experience. Find something such as a workshop, play party, etc where you can observe participate and learn. You may have to travel a bit if you live somewhere with a small or non existent fetish community.

And Yes fetlife.com is a great place to start
