Inspired by: Women whine about shit all the time, but the truth is, the vast majority of the time women have no fucking idea what they want. Which is why they gravitate toward men who tell them. True or false?

Are we supposedly whining because we supposedly don't know what we want? Or are we just whiners for the sake of whining AND we don't know what we want? [:-] Sometimes I'm not sure what I want. For example, do I get the chicken marsala or beef tenderloin? However, it's a decision I'm quite capable of making myself, similar to the other areas in my life. I really can't imagine a man being attracted to a women who wasn't self sufficient and couldn't stand on her own two feet.

I'm this way because I hate confrontation, I hate making choices, I don't like taking the lead. I'm the one who sits in the back and prays that no one picks me. And yeah there are times when I don't have a clue and that's when it's really nice to have someone who will decide it for me.

I always think I know what I want, and direct my efforts to finding it. Then, when I get really lucky (like I just did), I find something FAR more interesting than what I thought I wanted, and I gratefully go along for the ride. For this reason, I agreed with TAFKAA's original assertion that prompted this thread. Though I am not as convinced as he might be that this phenomenon is limited to women and/or submissives. I don't see it as a bad thing at all; I am glad not to limit myself only to what my own imagination can craft.

I always know what I want. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. If I don't know what I want, say for dinner for example, then I conclude I really don't want anything. I'm submissive, not because I'm confused, but because I place others wants on higher priority. If his wants are the same as mine, bonus. If not, I make him happy which makes me happy so I still win.

This post is going to go against my general rule of keeping things positive, but that post you quoted was one of the stupidest things I've seen on Collarme in a very long time. I knew and still know exactly what I want. As do the women in my life. And whining isn't something we partake in. Ignorance at its finest.

I put everyone else before myself....except lately....[&o], because I can't remember even something simple two minutes after he tells me. [:o] And yes Master, most of the time I know exactly what I want but sometimes my problem is I can see pros and cons to everything and so sometimes when both two things make a lot of sense to me, I can't choose which one I want. Before Master, I would have just closed my eyes and pointed and pray I chose correctly lol.
