HAHHAHHAHAH, typical
Congrats Mr President, you are into your second term, and they are still frothing!!!

I have seen a lot of presidents come and go and I can't think of one time where the losing side didn't piss and moan for the next four years. Sounds like business as usual.

Don't fret. I am sure someone will be along soon not only to explain why it's ok but to give numerous example of someone else doing it first. It seems the only time we are supposed to worry about a politician saying one thing and doing another is when they are on the right side of the fence. If we are really lucky one poster might even get the chance to call him "the kenyan" for the hundreth time.

When thieves complain about thievery.....it looks pretty dumb.

When demonizers complain about being called names......it looks pretty dumb.

The Kenyan thing,is a dig at the stupidity of your party......

If you don`t like having it being pointed out.....perhaps you should find another leisure pastime...

I know why he constantly calls Obama "the kenyan". But what he fails to realize is it makes him look just as ignorant as anyone else who does it. For what ever reason they do it.

Boi, please refrain from pointing out the shortcomings of fellow posters, they cannot help it that a large rock has a higher IQ.

And I am still pissed I did not get an invite and they are not going to have strippers and topless waitresses at the ball.

Alas I didn't get an invite either. Maybe we should hold our own ball.[8D]

I got six bottles of 75 year old scotch, two of 100 proof soco, a bottle of bacardi 151, and a bottle of JD #7 and JD green label and Gentleman Jack, and a half bottle of chardonay left over from New Years.

There is one point I must add, have you gotten a good look at my pic? My looks gives babies nightmares. I have stopped shaving because the mirror broke when I looked in it.

So celebrating that Democracy works isn't worthwhile?

$170M spent to celebrate the ascension of a man who has spent the last four years demonizing the wealthy.

Amazing.

Moreover, a Marxist usurper who has pronounced the U.S. Constitution an inherantly flawed document and has spent the last four years dishonoring the oath he took to preserve, uphold, defend and protect it.

mnottertail -> RE: Inaugaration 2013 (1/21/2013 7:19:00 AM)

If it wasn't inherently flawed, why did they have to rush out at least 10 amendments to it immediately?

Come on, Jim. If you point out that he's a socialist, that makes you a racist. Stop that!

Peace and comfort,

Michael

why is it that whenever anyone says so-and-so thinks the Constitution is flawed, it automatically goes back to the original, un-amended text? How is it that the Constitution as it stands right now, isn't the one that is being defended?

mnottertail -> RE: Inaugaration 2013 (1/21/2013 7:42:20 AM)

Thats the entire point.   It is being defended.  It was and is inherently flawed.

I will point out that corporations are people.  That is flawed.

Obviously you're either ignorant about why your lil boy pronounced it inherantly flawed or you refuse to acknowledge it.

mnottertail -> RE: Inaugaration 2013 (1/21/2013 7:46:36 AM)

Well, there slick, the guy that doesn't have much in the way of fact, tell us why he pronounced it inherently flawed, and show your work with CREDIBLE citation, not teabagger blogging.

Yeah, if anyone points out he's anything other than the greatest thing since sliced bread, that's make them a racist.

Do your own research for once, instead of simply gulping down more Kool-Aid.

mnottertail -> RE: Inaugaration 2013 (1/21/2013 7:50:54 AM)

In the 2001 interview, Obama said:

If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order and as long as I could pay for it I’d be OK
But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.
And that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that.

I am not the koolaide gulper, its the birthers, the nazis, the corporate capitulists, the teabaggers, the neo-cons, the ignorati, the imbecila on the right.

jlf1961 -> RE: Inaugaration 2013 (1/21/2013 8:02:10 AM)

First of all, stating the opinion that Obama is a socialist does not make one a racist in my opinion. But that is just me, and my opinion and $2.75 will get you a bad cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Now, I dont agree that he is a socialist, because most of his proposals dont fall into the philosophy of socialism.

And the Obamacare flap is not really his fault, he told congress to come up with a health care reform bill, which he stated a few requirements he had, and then let a democrat controlled senate and democrat controlled house go to town. What they came up with was convoluted mess and he signed the damn thing, even though he did not get some of the stuff he wanted.

This does not make him a socialist. It makes him a democrat who does not stand up for what he believes in, tries to please all the people all the time, and in the process is a pretty sorry excuse for a leader.

I think that if he actually stood up and made a stand about things he says he wants, more people could respect him.

With the exception of lieing about a blow job in the oval office, Clinton had more respect from both sides than Obama does.

Yes I voted for him, only because I considered him the lesser of two evils.

If Joe Biden gets the nomination in 2016, depending on who he runs against, I may just vote republican.

In my opinion, what we need in 2016 is two passionate individuals to run for president who actually have the respect of both sides, but no history in politics, there are some republicans who fit the bill, as well as democrats.

This country is in dire need of a change, and no "party line" president is going to achieve that.

No I was being sarcastic at Yachtie post.

Really? Have you not read the preamble? Have you not read anything as to why the Constitution was needed?
