I think this is something we experienced players might do well to remember when we fall into those habitual patterns of playing. I wanted to share them.

When I read that I thought of Master. He doesnt speak so poetically, but he has basically said to me "I play when I feel like it, if we dont play for 3 months too bad."

LOL Yes, not guite as poetic! Now that you bring it up, I'm curious as to how this quote makes you feel as an owned slave; someone who in theory can't apply this principle. But, that's a private question, and I'll understand if you don't wish to answer.

I'm not quite sure if I'm understanding your question correctly but will have a go at it... Well like I said, the quote really reminds me of Masters perspective and I love his style of domination. It's his way or no way. So hearing something like that reminds me of my submissiveness and my slavery, it reminds me that I'm there to serve and please him not the other way around. It reminds me that my pleasure is found when he uses me on his terms, not my own. If I have to wait to have my masochism satiated, then I wait (however frustrating). It reminds me that Master isn't obligated to satiate me in any way frm my own desirous expectations. It's in his time, not my own. It reminds me that thats the type of relationship I have agreed to live in...it reminds me of how much I enjoy that.
