Yep, I suffer from the giggles in such situations too. But then again, I do have a habit of laughing at the most inappropriate times. The best thing you can do is tell your partner about it, so they know you're not laughing at *them*. The laughter for me at least, goes away in time. Meanwhile, why not use it? I think its very sexy for a partner to tell you to get that god damn smile off your face before he slaps you senseless

Yes Foxglove I could see my 'Naughty Schoolgirl' getting a fit of the giggles during play sometimes..........but as you pointed out...I can also see her getting much more of a spanking than see had bargained for in the first place...wheres my cane !!!

Hottest scene I have ever done was role play. We sort of fell into it, but the key is that it must strike some sort of mental cord, a twist on a role that plays on some archetype burried in you..

Cuddle, you giggle, and as someone said, do you feel girlish at that moment? Play on that. LA, I bet there are places you could be taken where you would feel like you but something else, perhaps back to a place where you were making "bad" decisions or where some of the moral structure that you so nobly seem to have built were loosened.

I agree about feeding off another and I did exactly that both in reality and in the scene itself. What started as a very casual scene became darker and darker as my hands went from spanking to clawing the flesh from her bones. My voice went from reasuring to gutteral and beastly, my claws first ripping on the door and then her very flesh. My savage teeth tearing at her body, devouring it.

Describing it sounds silly but the path I took was one we went down together and it surprised us both but the key is we both were on the same path.

i have not read the other messages in this thread so forgive me if i just go over what others have said. As someone with a lot of theatrical experiance, the best way to 'get into' the role is to find a corner of yourself for which the scenario is 'real'. Building the 'character' from parts of yourself will help you to overcome the real you who feels awkward about the whole thing. It cant hurt to allow felings of discomfort/embarrassment/humour enter into it either. They can manifest themselves in various ways within the roleplaying. Try it. You may suprise yourself.

I don't feel girlish at that moment, I just feel plain silly. I just don't know how to get into it, but I will work on the suggestions that most of you have given me.
