Supposedly at an all girls school that use to be a mansion before the great depression there lived a young girl who fell in love with the gardener he'd bring her the prettiest rose in the garden at the beginning of each month it would always be there on her night stand when she'd wake up.
However her father found out and was not happy he fired the gardener and forbade his daughter from seeing him. However they still saw each other secretly at night and even planned to runaway together but then he got her pregnant and her father found out and killed her for shaming her family. The gardener after finding out then killed her father and himself.
The story should have ended there but it didn't after the family fell into ruin the house became a all girls school there were plans to remove the garden but oddly enough anyone that tried would die a violent death. So they left it alone and miraculous it stays beautiful to this day despite not having a gardener. It's also said that one day a girl attending school who happened to resemble his love saw a handsome man in the garden and started receiving roses the first of every month then one day on the anniversary the two lovers were to leave she disapeared never to be heard from again.
Then ten years later it happened again and ten years after that again all the victims received a rose and the same note on the first day that read "I was born to smother you in a bed of roses."
Only one girl was ever found she had been partially buried in the rose garden.
