And we register,do safety checks and require insurance for each one,not only because they`re dangerous but because of their potential use/abuse by criminals/crazies and kids....

Which seems perfectly reasonable to normal people.....

But somehow guns are different.

Why do cars kill more people than guns despite all the regulation?

I dunno.

Can you tell me why deaths related to cars are going down while gun related deaths are going up?

On what planet are any of those things required simply to own a vehicle and keep it strictly inside your garage? On what planet do the police confiscate your car from your dwelling if it looks scary?

Or is making up untrue nonsense your definition of 'reasonable' and 'normal'?

FR,

Anyone else find it odd that Feinstein has a CCW?

$33,000? $18,500? Yeah I don't think so. I wasn't planning to ge an assault rifle anytime soon but it seems I have to now. It sure as hell won't be a tommy gun. An Ak probably. Hell I can get an ak-47 and a mossberg 12 gauge for under a grand.

A car does not have to be registered to own it. There is no law saying that a financed car has to be insured either, that is a condition of the lending company.
Registration and inspection is only a requirement to drive on public roads.

Feinstein is so full of shit. From her website:

"Assault weapon bans have been proven to be effective

The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban was effective at reducing crime and getting these military-style weapons off our streets. Since the ban expired, more than 350 people have been killed and more than 450 injured by these weapons."

Columbine happened in 1999 - smack dab in the center of the AWB. The CDC has said that there is no evidence that the AWB had any impact on on gun crime. The lack of evidence doesn't mean it was ineffective - there is just no proof either way.

Bring it on, Dianne. The last AWB was passed in September 1994. Even Bill Clinton admitted that it was likely the reason the Dems lost control of Congress two months later. The GOP would love to have control of both sides again.

In their story about Feinstein CNN is still reporting that Lanza used a semi-automatic rifle at Sandy Hook after authorities have admitted that they found four handguns. So much for responsible reporting.

So you agree that if I so choose to I can go buy an unregistered dump truck in horrible condition never get it registered inspected or insured (all without a background check) and go on a rampage on public roads at any time I want running people off the road killing dozens in a crowded city. It seems to me that there aren't very many parallels between automobile regulation and proposed gun regulation.

Depends... a private sale? Possibly. But then the seller may be in hot water with the car.

How far as you going to get with a car and no tag?

You cant argue my figures, do you want to argue supposed hypotheical situations.

No they didnt. Thats been said before and proven false. That report came from CNN on the 15th. Since then, the Coroner has said otherwise.

The seller did nothing illegal whether he was a private seller or a dealer. As to how far I will get, pretty far, I urge to to take note of how many people you can see with an expired registration and/or inspection for a while. Not to mention the physics required to stop a man in a dump truck that doesn't want to be stopped.
Show me a trend longer than a few years and show causation rather than correlation that increased regulation has anything to do with lower automobile deaths rather than seat belts and air bags.
The entire argument for gun control is nothing but hypothetical situations. I've never killed anyone with the guns I own, but you still want to ban them.

Yes and there is a report that Adam Lanza wore ear plugs

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/lanza-wore-earplugs-shot-cars-article-1.1234747

That Adam Lanza was dead before the day of the shooting

http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/ssdi-says-adam-lanza-died-a-day-before-sandy-hook-massacre/

Had a Psychoic break

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/lanza-psychic-break-article-1.1243602?localLinksEnabled=false

And here is a CNN report that states Adam Lanza did use a Bushmaster

http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/18/us/connecticut-lanza-guns/index.html

there are so many rumors.
