So, I am dumb enough to discuss it not because I fell for it; nor, realize it was a scam and therefore no reason to discuss it but because I have talked in the past with those who did financially help their sub / slave to relocate. But, I liked how you said it. Cheers

The bolded part is the key right there. Helping YOUR "s" type relocate is a whole heck of lot different than sending money to someone you've never met.

I've said it over and over again, if you've never met face to face....that person is complete stranger to you regardless of how much you have IM'd, spoke on the phone or emailed.....and therefore they are not your submissive or slave.

Ditto's or agreed. I think I should not have started this thread. But I did read in another forum discussion on what is
'financial submission' or something to that nature. I don't want to get off thread topic but I would never think of asking a submissive / slave to give over her money even if it were to help her get a better return on her investment for her future needs and retirement being among them .

Status: offline 		Okay, fella. Let me put it this way. Your profile says very little about you and what you'd bring to a relationship. It just says that you want a "young woman" without saying what your definition of "young" is. And it doesn't say what a 62 year old man could offer a young woman.

Let me be blunt. Your profile screams that you're new to this. Your Friends are all young women whose profiles don't quite sound right. The fact that you're international suggests that you could have money. You sound ripe for the picking.

Don't do anything but learn till you get back to the States. Then join your local group and absorb as much as you can. Once you know what you're doing, THEN look.

Actually, I have never expected nor asked someone to relocate for me. I believe that would be expecting an awfully lot should *I* ask someone. (I am NOT saying it would be for someone ELSE to ask someone!)
And I haven't relocated for someone. My lifestyle is too unique to give up!

You've gotten some good answers here and seem to understand them. I kind of have to wonder though, do you think that simply having a profile on another popular site makes you an experienced BDSM veteran? I do not mean this in a snarky way. But, unless you've been physically involved in BDSM, had actual hands on experience, you ARE new to BDSM. Particularly if you proclaim yourself a dominant.

Again, I do not intend to insult you here. Your profile does not give any idea of what your BDSM interests are, besides a "young woman." My advice is that when you get back to the states, since you will have the freedom to choose where you want to live, live in or close to a major city. Join the local, real life community there and go to as many events as you can. Find people with experience at the things that interest you and learn from them. And don't fixate on the "young" women.

I am in process of changing my profile and I have had past D's relationship. In fact, I am now back state side in the state of Iowa. I tried to click on your profile so as to e mail you privately about this. Came up with no profile.

Thanks for your posting. And don't worry about insulting me. Perhaps that is possible but when you've seen things which are about survival in inner China, then an insult on collarme or that other site is nothing.

Again, as i mentioned in private e mail to a couple of other posterers, I could have posted the question a bit better to leave out the ambiguity perhaps either through individual perceptions or my bad grammar. I did say in my profile, and am going to change a bit " I am well educated " I will or need to change to "I received opportunity for a good education and did obtain a degree in higher learning. However, I have never been good in English grammar and that probably will not improve now at my stately age of 62." that is just a side note to you but now everyone will see it. Oh well.
One needs to be an open book .
But, I can write, read and speak Chinese at a decent level. That means, survival level.
There I kidnapped this thread. Oh well

Scam #3 - I need money for travel expenses (airfare, gasoline, etc.)
If you plan on meeting a user who'll be traveling to you from a distant location, think long and hard before sending them money for their travel expenses. Thanks for telling me my profile isn't working. I've been getting to wonder about that due to the lack of activity. I've had that problem here before and don't remember how it got fixed. I do remember writing to CM and never getting any response. I don't mean to hijack your thread but does anybody want to clue me in on fixing it?
