dashahaven -> Spammer Sub anyone else contacted (1/27/2013 10:28:39 PM)

I got contacted by a sub this evening stating that he needed to complete a task by webcam. When I told him that the computer I am on, my 80 year old aunts, does not have webcam capabilities, he became verbally abusive, even suggesting I was a bi-sexual man. Anyone else ran into this? How should I deal with it?? I am kinda new here so any advice is welcomed. I will also be asking my new master for his opinion.

Welcome to the wonderful world of CM. Keep your common sense hat on and ignore block and move on. Since you are new, there will be many coming and claiming and demanding various things. Read the boards and think about this as if you were looking for a mate and a relationship.

Unfortunately this is very common for this site. I wish I could say you're not likely to get more like that, but on the line at the top of your profile where it says "Female" is usually the only part they read. Best thing to do as soon as you get an email from a man who obviously hasn't read your profile is block him from writing back to you and delete the email. When women tell men who write such emails that they're not interested, the men's usual response is to come back with insults.

Deal with it by blocking his profile.

He wanted to get you on cam so he could get his jollies. You will get a lot of that. You will also probably get a few emails saying you have been 'reported as a man' and need to go on cam to prove you are real. These are also fake. You will get some abusive emails for no reason, and lots of emails from people who are completely different than what you are looking for.

Because of the nature of the site and the anonymity granted by the internet, you will meet a lot of wankers and a lot of people who are happy to spew abuse at you. It is worse when you are new because the people who trawl the site daily hoping to get off will see you on the 'new user' list. Since they have exhausted the pool of women they pounce on new people, hoping you will be naive enough to do what they want. Women will always get it worse because there's a lot more guys here.

Just remember: you owe them nothing, it's not personal, don't put up with anything you wouldn't tolerate from a guy in a coffee shop and anything you put on the internet stays there forever. You'll be fine.

Block and move on.
You will find many who demand you to get on cam to "verify" you are who you say you are.

You will get even more who will get vile and attack you when rejected.

It's a part of being online.

If you have a Master, why are you even considering getting on a web cam with someone? Not to mention that person is a complete stranger to you and you have no idea what his intentions were regarding your electronically broadcasted image.

OP..
A little warning.
Webcam's can / are recorded and posted on tube sites and things of that nature.

It's as common as the air you breathe.

Ignore, delete, move on.

Personally I'd take out any reference in your profile to being "new". Keep all your interactions with people at a friendship level - meaning don't engage in online scenes or sessions. There is a distinct difference between discussing sex/kink in a theoretical manner and participating in online play.

Also I noticed you have only been on the site for a few days? Is your new master someone you met on here? Or someone you know in real life?
