I am thinking there are many who felt that N. Korea would come to this.

What still baffles me is that the world shows its greed using Chinese labor (profit center) while their govt. cowtows and supports N. Korea. The western (capitalists') values a profit much more than the lives of N. Koreans.

I guess soon, it will be slaves...eating slaves. Talk about cost-effective...wow. What took them so long, I wouldn't know.

Nothing new here...most slaves throughout history have had to find ways to feed themselves.

I remember reading reorts, with much more reliable provonance, reporting the north vietnamese attack on u.s. ships in the tonkin gulf.
It seemed sort of hamfisted to point out the alleged caniblism as being a direct result of n.korea's missile program.
Consider for a moment the number of homeless in the u.s. and the size of our military budget.

What struck me most wasn't that Kin Jong Un has recently spent "vast sums of money" on 2 rocket launchers, but that they confiscated food from the area and gave it to residents of Pyongyang. That is the most sickening part of it all.

Wonder if we have any sort of undercover ops going on to help build a revolution, or clandestine humanitarian relief going on.

Unless we can get some of their military leaders to initiate a coup, I can't see anything changing there.

Why does it siken you that their gorernment would take food from where it is grown and distribute it where it is not grown?

I wonder why you feel it is the responsibility of the u.s. taxpayers to stick their nose into the dometic business of a soverign nation?

Uh, what part of NO VERIFICATION of the story is not making sense. None of the search results led to a credible source, none of the sources in the news stories that make this statement led to credible sources.

Gee if people believe this stuff, I have beach front property in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Salt Lake city that i will sell for $100 an acre.

From the article:
Undercover reporters said food was confiscated from the two provinces and given to the residents of the capital Pyongyang.

There's just something about confiscation by government and then having that stuff given to others that just rubs me the wrong way.

I never said we should have undercover ops building a revolution. And, simply due to their need, I would hope there is some sort of humanitarian food aid being brought to bear there. I'm not even stipulating whether it be governmental or charity-driven. I just hope they get the aid they need.
