I am not a fan of either really, but I'd rather see the Raven's win. Lol And I think they will.

I am not a fan of either team. In fact; one of my teams hasn't even *sniffed* a SuperBowl in over 40 years. I have always liked this Flacco kid. I think he's smart, decent, poised, and respectful. I would really like to see him win. Having said that; defense wins championships and Baltimore has an aging-to-old defensive core. I am very "afraid" that this will translate to a minimum 14 point drubbing by the 49ers. I think this Kaepernik (whom I call "Capernicus") kid is a helluva player and I think the San Fran defense matches up a lot better against the Baltimore offense than the converse being true. Therefore (and you can quote me and most will) I predict a minimum of a 14 point margin of victory for San Fran and I think the final score will be: 45 - 28. Peace and comfort, Michael

Michael, I agree 100% about the SF defense matching up with the Baltimore offense, moreso than the reverse. Lewis and company have really surprised me this post-season, though.

Purely self-serving on my part...I vote for the 49ers because the Rams beat them twice in another crappy season and if they win at least we can say beat the Super Bowl camps. Butch

Uh, can we make the game more interesting? There is a company that developed a non lethal crowd control system, they spray a chemical on the ground and it becomes so slick you can barely stand or walk. I suggest we spray that all over the field and the area where any possible cheerleader might be.

I'm not really a fan of either team, although my roots among Cleveland fans do make it rather difficult to appreciate the Ravens, for obvious reasons. Both teams have players I really like (Rice for Baltimore, Kaepernick for SF), and both coaches have the kind of personality I like to see in a coach, although perhaps Jim is a little more brash and in-your-face than John is. That being said, I think Jim is a better coach, and consistently makes the right strategic decisions. I think that Kaepernick is an element that the Ravens will struggle with. I think that the Ravens defense is running on fumes and reputation. I think that SF's defense is perfectly geared to stopping Rice, who is the Raven's offense. So, I'm rooting for the Niners, but only because I want the prediction I'm making to be right. SF 24, Baltimore 14.
