Status: offline 		I am not a fan of either team. In fact; one of my teams hasn't even sniffed a SuperBowl in over 40 years.

I have always liked this Flacco kid. I think he's smart, decent, poised, and respectful. I would really like to see him win.

Having said that; defense wins championships and Baltimore has an aging-to-old defensive core. I am very "afraid" that this will translate to a minimum 14 point drubbing by the 49ers.

I think this Kaepernik (whom I call "Capernicus") kid is a helluva player and I think the San Fran defense matches up a lot better against the Baltimore offense than the converse being true.

Therefore (and you can quote me and most will) I predict a minimum of a 14 point margin of victory for San Fran and I think the final score will be: 45 - 28.

Status: offline 		Michael, I agree 100% about the SF defense matching up with the Baltimore offense, moreso than the reverse. Lewis and company have really surprised me this post-season, though.

There is a company that developed a non lethal crowd control system, they spray a chemical on the ground and it becomes so slick you can barely stand or walk.

I suggest we spray that all over the field and the area where any possible cheerleader might be.

Status: offline 		I'm not really a fan of either team, although my roots among Cleveland fans do make it rather difficult to appreciate the Ravens, for obvious reasons.

Both teams have players I really like (Rice for Baltimore, Kaepernick for SF), and both coaches have the kind of personality I like to see in a coach, although perhaps Jim is a little more brash and in-your-face than John is.

That being said, I think Jim is a better coach, and consistently makes the right strategic decisions. I think that Kaepernick is an element that the Ravens will struggle with. I think that the Ravens defense is running on fumes and reputation. I think that SF's defense is perfectly geared to stopping Rice, who is the Raven's offense.

So, I'm rooting for the Niners, but only because I want the prediction I'm making to be right. SF 24, Baltimore 14.
