I've given this out before, but--

1 lb bacon
1/2 c ground pecans
1/2 c brown sugar

Mix sugar and pecans, spread on plate. As bacon is removed from cooking, place on pecan mixture, press, then flip and remove to cool.

Praline bacon.

STOP POSTING THAT.

What's your favorite snack that makes you embarrassed to be seen eating it?

I have no shame. I've even been known to lick the bowl. In public.
Tin Roof Ice cream!!

I think my stomach just turned.

WTF Jeff????!!! That's just...eeeewwww.

Someone mentioned candied pecans? Yeah....Master loves those. He had some a few days ago and he's been going on about me making them lol.

I so wish I would have bought a caramel frappe tonight. I want one now. I think tomorrow I know what I'm buying for lunch.

ETA: looking at the ice cream pictures makes me think of Rita's in the summer. I absolutely love Ritas rootbeer ice and vanilla custard. I have a Rita's stand near my house and everytime I walk buy it I just have to buy a child's size so I don't pig out lol. I'm addicted to that stuff in the summer.

I know these are relatively healthy, but the bbq popchips are awesome!

Maybe it's just me, but I'd be embarrassed to be adding something classed as a "popchip" to a thread about embarrassingly unhealthy dietary choices. For shame, for shame!

:P I guess it's a good thing I have no SHAME! Besides they are yummy and I could sit down and eat the whole bad (it's small) in one sitting. IF I didn't have any self control.

I'm a chocoholic with the best of them!

This thread reminded me (sadly) of a line of ice cream a national top-shelf maker had out a few years ago. There was one that was a sweet cream and honey, one that was a carmel/ sea salt, one that had toasted coconut and was very much like as ice cream equivalent of Samoas, and a chocolate that was the most intense cocoa flavor I've ever had but not at all bitter. All were outstanding in their own (so very wonderful) way.

After I realized I hadn't seen them in the store for a while, I emailed the company and politely asked WTF?! I was told that they bring out special lines periodically, with no intention of keeping them active long-term. Presumably, just to fuck with people. I haven't bought their product since. Bastards!

Sadly, no.
My innocence was stolen long ago.

I try to forget
that first cold, delicious, creamy, sweet, chocolaty, crunchy, cold, honey-y, delicious mouthful.
It haunts me to this day.

It haunts me.
Late at night, when I snap awake and open the small freezer under my night stand only to feel the cold, dead, space which once was full,
it haunts me.

I weep softly, and remember.
My innocence lost.
