It's not a matter of perfection, SHE DIDN'T ACCIDENTALLY POST. Her OP wasn't edited, she just chose to write a post saying she was posting in the wrong section. Whereas if she knew it was the wrong section, why continue her post at all?

Once you hit the post button, you have a couple of seconds to hit the edit button and if you do it in enough time you can then save it again without it saying that you edited the post. I've done it tons of times.
