Should a "Daddy Dom" be significantly older than his sub.? Can a daddy Dom be younger than his sub.? Entering into a D/lil relation, never had the experience and am curious.

A relationship between two consenting adults can be anything you want it to be. Any dynamic. Any color. Any age. If it makes you happy, have at it. There are no relationship rules that a forum full of strangers can impose on you.

Eh... that would be YOUR personal preference. My last daddy, was my age. The one before that was only 5 years older than me. It has very little to do with the age of those involved but more to do with the dynamics and relationship between them. ETA: The search feature on the forums, will help. Although there is another post on this page about daddy doms and baby girls. Even though the OP was bleh... there is a lot of wonderful information in the thread about the dynamic. Btw... your avatar picture is a violation of the TOS. shrugs

I think it's role playing, right? Therefore the age isn't really the issue. It's the position of power and the structure of the relationship which makes it the Daddy Dom.

I think there is a real and serious debate about where the line between "role" and "self" is... especially as one immerses oneself in the role more and more. I think many times in what we do in BDSM the line between "role" and "player" is either wafer thin or doesn't exist. In part, we construct our own realities from the chosen roles. My girl is over a decade younger than me, but that's not why I try to nurture her, support her, and certainly not why I love her. I nurture the wonderful person she is, whether she feels wonderful, or not; I support her, because she is a good person worth supporting. As for why I love her...well, I'm not here to write an essay. The Notes version goes like this: she is carefree, funny, bright, sensible, compassionate, inspirational, and even if she weren't beautiful on the outside (and rest assured, she is), when I look in my little girl's eyes I see a young woman that is also beautiful on the inside. She shines wonder in my heart, and challenges my mind. I wish you a similar experience - it is rare, and fulfilling.

Most 'Daddys' Ive seen in rl are older but a few have been younger.

age is not a factor.... I find it's more an issue of those that seek to create an illusion that become problematic when reality strikes.

No. Daddy/little or Daddy/boy or a Daddy/girl dynamic comes in many flavors and quite often, the person in the Daddy role is younger then their boy/girl/little. The relationship is usually based more on the needs of both people and what they are seeking and less on the age factor.

It varies, whatever works for you, some women are only into men close to their age, that's probably the norm, others prefer more mature men, it's your comfort zone.

People can be whatever they please at whatever age they are deemed an adult and are legally allowed to make decisions for themselves. If you're okay with it then that's all that matters.
