Salaam aleikham. Language issues. Like the Farsi word "agha", which technically translates to "king", but when my Iranian-American friends explained it to me, it was the king of a village. When I explained that that was analogous to a chief, they vehemently insisted that it was a king. Many nations, such as the USA, do not even have queens nowadays. Even in the Western ones that do have queens, such as Britain, she is a quaint vestige of a feudal system and does not wield any true power. Any woman calling herself a queen on collarme - that's a title of respect she gives to herself, not an actual job title. Just to make things more complicated, some gay men with diva tendencies get that title as well. Welcome to the forums!
