We are planning a trip to California & Las Vegas in autumn 2013 and would love your suggestions for adult (BDSM or BDSM-friendly?) hotels, pool areas, nude beaches & clubs (BDSM & Swinger too!) in Los Angeles + San Francisco & Las Vegas!

What do you man by BDSM friendly?
Unless you plan on playing in public most hotels are "bdsm" friendly.
Hell most don't care what you do in the room as long as you don't destroy their property, disturb other guests or bring the cops.

There used to be several "nudist" pools in Vegas as well as some wonderful BDSM clubs.
Although I haven't been there in over 10 yrs.
So I'm not sure if they are still around.

Used to be a hotel called Edgewater West right at the entrance to the Oakland Airport, here in the SF Bay area.

Dunno if it's still there - but the pool is in the center surrounded by the rooms, and a tall fence surrounded the entire place such that it was private inside on the outside grounds (and not just in the rooms).

The pool was all nude, as was the hot tub and saunas - and the bar had nekked women dancing all the time. If you paid 'em $20, they'd dance two songs and allow the hands to go wherever the hands wanted to be. But this was a while ago.

Haven't been there in a decade so if there's anyone else who knows more about it, they can clue the OP in.

However, it wasn't a D/s theme. Just nudity. And sex. Normal stuff.

For Vegas, you're looking for a joint called the Green Door. It's the BDSM club in the city. You may want to contact them before your trip so that you know their dungeon rules, schedule, etc before your trip.

For LA, you are looking for a place called the Lair. Kane and his girl are both members here. Again, contact in advance because they do have some membership requirements.

San Fran I'm not as familiar but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that you could find a line on what you are looking for by stopping by the Eagle down in the Castro. The Eagle is a bar, rather than a club, but you can't swing a dead cat there without hitting a kinky person who can give you the info that you need.

Thank you very much for the first interesting suggestions we got! Will evaluate the information in detail!

One question above was about "BDSM-Hotel". Short explained, a hotel with focus to kinky guests. ;-) Best case with equipped rooms (dungeon...) and/or kinky events. Where it´s allowed to be dressed in fetish in the whole area, where nobody is scared if some slashes are given on a naked butt or some humiliation is running. OK?

We are in search of hotels - if possible with nude pool, where my Lady can show up with an potential lover and me together - where we will not get problems with me collared on leash & weals on the body or kissing & licking their feet.

OK, that's one of the reasons that I went with the Green Door. From what I understand, the Red Rooster is primarily a swinger's club and when I double checked, they have nothing in their site regarding BDSM. (I'm not a swinger, Myself, so I had a look at their website.) Neither of the clubs are overnight stay, so you may have to do more research on that.

When, exactly, is your trip? Depending on when you are going, there are multiple day kink events in the cities in CA that will give you much more leeway regarding hotel accommodations. If you are hitting San Fran in September, Folsom Fringe and Folsom Street Fair are during that month and that is something fun for any kinkster to attend. A word of advice, if you are going to try to be in town for that, get on the reservations now because there is a whole section of the city that you won't get a room unless you plan well ahead. Unfortunately, it's been a couple of years since I've been to the event, Myself, and I can't remember the name of the hotel we were in.

I'm not aware of any specific BDSM themed hotels on B&B's that cater to those types of guests constantly. Best advice on that is getting in touch with local kinksters and getting their advice.

Dear LadyPact, you´re right with your suggestions - the reason, why we do the evaluations now, is, that we´ve planned to visit Folsom Street Fair! :-)

Searching the net we´ve seen "Power Exchange Clubs" in SF & LV (http://www.powerexchange.com/) - has anybody heard about or visited?

Ah, you won't be disappointed! Folsom Street Fair is an amazing event. I've never had more admiration for people who could wear such extreme shoes on a city street in all of My life. <grin> (Keep in mind that you're talking to a leather chick who wore the boots in the pic on the left and in comparison, I was wearing flats.)

Have you given any thought to contacting the organizers of the event for recommendations? There are a number of hotels that are within walking distance and they are pretty liberal about the after party scenarios. We were only a block or two from the Eagle and they were really good to us. Shoot! I wish I could remember the name of that joint.

I was based in Paso Robles just a couple of years ago. I could drop a couple of notes to some friends for info, if you would like.
