Status: offline 		Wow. The kid taught himself to research, designed his own project, solicited lab space, wrote grant proposals, and he was able to speak to an audience at a college student level.

Status: offline 		Thank you for sharing this.  Both this young man and his
accomplishment are very impressive. 

His idea and the resulting product should save a lot of lives
through early detection.  And he makes many other points
about research and access to information that are also instructive.

In addition, he was a much better public speaker than a lot of college
students I have seen.  All in all very impressive.
