Status: offline 		i do not have a profile on the other side. it is deleted but the account remains open. i can still send and receive messages on the other side as well as post here in the forums. if i wanted, i could flesh out the profile again.

I haven't tested it myself, but I've seen it posted a few years ago that it looks as though you sent the email, but the recipient doesn't receive it.

The CM profile can also be not-really-deleted sometimes, which appears to be the state of breagha's profile. But if it's really deleted, it's really gone.

I think this means your profile is Hidden, not deleted.

Status: offline 		Few (if any) newbie TOS errors that they could blunder into, are as innocuous as posting to an older thread. Remember it's NEW people who might easily do it. See post 33 from a 2012 joiner.

But really now, if those who dread like the plague, having back-threads posted-on, wish to prevail . . . then CM should prevent it, instead of punishing it. It would be very feasible, if CM wanted, for all threads to lock automatically, by software, after a certain dormancy interval. Prevent it, rather than punishing or grousing over it. Lord knows, mods easily lock em now, just to review them. Prevention over hand wringing.

Until then, the "As the Collar Turns" teaser could be adjusted, not to parade quotes added to threads of a certain age.

I do believe the site should evolve, but not in the direction of FL, and have made positive suggestions for it to do so, when mods asked on other threads.

She asked why her profile was reported. It was suggested that pulling old threads might have affected it. Conversation insued. I don't remember anyone yelling about it.

I think you might be overestimating the abilities of this broke-ass forum software.

I'm pretty sure that the scroller only shows recent posts.

As far as I can tell, the forum software hasn't seen any feature upgrades aside from the scroller since I started using the site in 2004. I wouldn't hold my breath for updates any time soon.

Careful, OP. Egos come with a standard psi rating and if you overinflate, you run the risk of a blow out. That leaves a pretty huge mess and you'd have to probably hire a biohazard remediation company to do the cleanup afterwards.

Who knows why your profile got deleted. Perhaps it was your repeated resurrection of nearly decade old threads yesterday? Maybe that got the attention of the powers that be and they took a closer look at your profile? Maybe the photos you had posted violated copyright law? Or perhaps you did get reported. Who knows for sure.

Status: offline 		Going back to an account that is deleted before a certain number of days (I'm not sure how many days) have passed will automatically reopen the account.  So, you may not have a profile showing, but you still have an open account.

Here's the deal....because you're so hot, I think it's entirely unfair. If you were ugly of course, I'd tell you to hitch a ride on the nearest bus and take your chances.

I say sue the fuckers (unless of course you are ugly....then I'd probably pull back a bit).
