If this works out it could be a BIG TIME game changer.

The Super SuperCapacitor   a 3:33 film about a UCLA discovery.

Definitely something to keep an eye on for the near future.

Wonderful, if the energy storage technology was
available to make charging up a car quick and easy,
I'd convert my car to electric in a heartbeat.

But the thing that hit home in that vid was the
Iphone, charging up personal electronics in a small
amount of time would be very convenient.

...flat iphone... Welcome to my world.

Thanks for the link.

In 2005 when Cook finally got the money he needed to finish research on the Cook Inertial Propulsion Engine, which proved Newton's Law was incorrect, I heard the future change. But have yet to see that change.

When a Tampa company got a government contract to convert Hummers so they ran on water with hydrogen fuel cells (HHO), I heard the future change. But have yet to see that change, although some conversion kits are now available.

I have never liked the combustion engine. It is a silly and inefficient when compared to electric motors. If racecars were electric, all speed records would be broken overnight. Nothing compares the acceleration and power of an electric motor. So here we are again, electric motors again become feasible. I can hear the future change. Being this movie is so public, I hope it comes to pass unlike past experiences.

Side Note: In the early 80s, an electronic engineer friend in Detroit came up with a 600 HP electric motor that was the size of a small car tire and ran on a dozen batteries. He was bought out for 2 million dollars and retired in Diamond Head. The company that bought it was a front for the oil companies. Of course the motor and design have disappeared off the map.
